Grade Level Data Meetings

We are working our way through the Grade Level Data Meetings. During these meetings all teachers (regular and special education) come together with our Literacy Coach and Reading Specialist to discuss student achievement related to our DIBELs progress monitoring. Please share your grade level, what was discussed at your meeting, decisions/changes made to your student instructional plans, highlights and challenges. You may also list comments and questions.

It feels good to talk with each grade level separately, as their needs will become more different throughout the year.

I think the meetings are definitely beneficial. I've made a section in my binder in the back where I've begun to put all my extra 'stuff' so that way I don't lose it. I'm notorious for that! We get many hand outs relatating to RTI and DIBELS. This way when it's all in the data notebook we'll know where to find it. I've also made spots in my data notebook for gates, and my other data. I've started to put everything related to assessment and tons of other stuff in there. It's kinda a catch all for me. But i'm a type of person that needs that. My salmon coach bag can't hold a lot but that data notebook can!!! :) Smile friends it's almost the end of the week. Anyone want some chocolate!?
